Yielded Hearts

21 And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. (Exodus 4:21 NKJV)

The Son shines—and just like the sun, He radiates His heat and light to all humanity. As All-Sovereign, He makes allowances for no one. All come under His heat and light.

“I am the light of the world” (John 8:12 NKJV)

But, His effect upon those He shines is based upon how He is received. It is the consistency of those upon whom He shines that determines the effect. Our heart’s cry must be “Melt us Lord!”
