About Devotion Church
At Devotion Church we aim always to serve God's Kingdom and serve our community in proclaiming and living out the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pursue His Glory through His word and Spirit and through prayer and service. We are a non-denominational church welcoming all who are serious about following Jesus as well. In serving our Lord, our community, and each other, devotion is what we strive for in everything we do; devotion to Christ and our neighbors. This is the devotion that Christ declared to us- "love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as you love yourself" (Mark 12:29-31).

The Mission
As beings created in God’s image, we believe that our main purpose in life is to exalt God our Creator. Simply put, life is not all about us, it is all about Him! At Devotion Church this understanding is the motivation behind all we do.
The Vision
Devotion Church exists to continually learn, teach, and live in accordance with:

Pastoral Team
David and Melinda “Mendy” Jackson have been residents of the Sand Springs community for the past 11 years. They completed the construction of a home in the area in 2013 and have thoroughly enjoyed their time in Sand Springs. They have two beautiful daughters, a terrific son-in-law, and one incredible grandson.
David is currently employed as an Account Manager for an international corporation serving the Oil and Gas industry. Mendy serves as an Estate Manager in the Tulsa area.
The couple spent their early married years in Berlin, Germany as David served in the US Army from 1987-1990 in a Light Infantry Brigade. He was also deployed to serve in Operation Desert Storm in 1991.
David later completed a Religion degree and Pastoral Ministries degree for further service in the work of the Church and served as an Associate Pastor for five years in the Tulsa area.
In 2019 David began to sense a new burden from the Lord, a calling into a new venture of ministry. As God led in the months that followed, the idea for Devotion Church, a new church plant in the Sand Springs community, emerged.
As Pastor of this newly formed local body, it is David's conviction that the transforming truth of God’s Holy Word is preached and taught for the equipping and discipleship of believers, the salvation of the lost, and the advancement of God’s Kingdom in preparation for the soon return of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.

Devotion to God
Jesus states that it all starts here. Without proper love for God, a person will not build their life on His provided, solid foundation, and spiritual vertigo may be the result. A relationship with God should be marked by deep affection, loyalty, and greatest love for Him in response to His love for us! This will dictate everything else in our lives. This devotion is at the very heart of the gospel and is the reference point for all of life and practice! It determines the direction of our moral compass and all decisions and actions which follow.
2. Devotion to Others
Everyone— everywhere—period; all people with whom the Lord our God would bring us into connection!
3. Devotion to Jesus’
key missional priorities on earth (this we call the Kingdom Agenda).
